The Challenge
A logistics tenant needed a 4,000 sq ft storage mezzanine inside an operating warehouse — 14-foot columns, long-span beams and zero tolerance for shutting down forklift traffic below. Every member had to arrive cut, drilled and numbered, then go up in night shifts.
Our Approach
We detailed the frame from a laser survey, fabricated beams and bracing in our bays, and set columns on grouted base plates over four nights. Moment connections were welded to AWS D1.1 with ultrasonic testing on every full-pen joint, and the special inspector signed off with no rework.
